Heald from 1913 adEdward Payson Heald (February 5, 1843 – July 11, 1925) was the founder of Heald's Business College in 1863.

Heald is interred in Mountain View Cemetery in the Receiving Vault. There is also a bench in his memory which was dedicated in 2013 to commemorate 150 years of Heald College.
