Creamcrest Dairy Products was a local dairy from 1935 to 1963. They had a number of locations over the years. It was run by brothers Louis, Joseph, and Henry Filippini.
A 1935 report from the California Depart of Agriculture lists them at 1818 Harmon St. in Berkeley, near the Oakland border. 3
A 1942 classified ad includes 2743 San Pablo Ave., which was also the location of Borden's.
A 1946 notice says Creamcrest Dairy, Louis G. Filippini of 2743 San Pablo Ave. purchased the business of F.A. Silveira of 2743. 1,2 [ It's unknown if F.A. Silveira was connected to Joaquin Silveira who founded the American Creamery. F.A. was probably Frank Silveira, who is listed in the 1941 directory as a dairyman. ]
In 1949, a Creamcrest driver was killed when his truck was broadsided by a speeding driver. The article mentions 875 - 48th St., though that was probably 875 - 58th St. which appears on the 1952 Sanborn map as a creamery, and there is no 875 - 48th St. 7
