Ale Industries was a small brewery in Jingletown, with a taproom adjacent. It was co-founded by Morgan Cox and Stephen Lopas in 2009. 1
They were noted for tasty beer, and community collaborations like Bay Cat California Ale, an Oakland Zoo-themed beer benefiting mountain lions in the wild.
In November 2023, after 5 break-ins in a year, and a 50% rent increase, they decided to close down. 2
NOTE: They have ceased brewing, but are selling their remaining stock both at the taproom and through existing retailers. This is estimated to last through the end of November.
