Wunder Beer was a local beer brand starting in 1898. Initially it was brewed in San Francisco, and beginning c.1902, bottled at 223 - 8th Street and sold in Oakland.
1902 ads list Henry Till as the proprietor. 1903 ads list J. Eschelson as proprietor.
In November 1933, the Wunder Brewing Company of Oakland acquired the plant of the Koken-White Corporation at 26th and Adeline, with plans to convert it into a brewery. J.A. Hieronimus was president. 2
The 1934 directory lists Wunder Brewing at 2119 Linden Street, with the plant at 1165 - 26th Street.
It's unknown how long the company lasted, as ad references disappear after 1935.
