    • Drop-in Art Workshop for children at Eastmont BranchFREE weekly art workshops. Lead by MOCHA teaching artists, the workshops focus on building creativity, socioemotional and academic skills through painting, drawing, sculpting, collage and numerous other art forms. 
    • The Blue Candle -A weekly open mic for up-and-coming spoken word artists, poets, and comedians at Dorsey's Locker
    • Board Game Days for Seniors –  11:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Hall 2, Downtown Oakland Senior Center, 200 Grand Avenue. Join others in rousing board games including Monopoly, Scrabble, Boggle and many more.     • Affordable Health Care Act: Your Questions Answered – (through 2013) 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., Main Library, 125 14th Street.
