Steve and Marilee Shaffer

Urban Legend Cellars: Steve and Marilee Shaffer asked "Why aren't there more food-friendly wines in California? Why should wineries be in the country far away from the wonderful and diverse flavors of the East Bay?" So they built Urban Legend Cellars in Jack London Square.

The tasting room and aging cellars were at 621 - 4th St. They have since moved to Alameda.
