As we reflect on Black History Month in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Oakland and beyond let's take this time to have a high level, positive dialogue on the current state of Blacks In Technology. We all know the data but let's talk about solutions, outreach programs, and partnerships as to what we can do as thought leaders, innovators and role models to have an impact on our community as a whole.
Our panelist will range from founders, press/media, non-profit organizations, investors, and corporate diversity leaders.
Shaun Tai @shaun_tai is the founder and Executive Director of Oakland Digital Arts & Literacy Center (ODALC.org), an independent 501(c)(3) community building organization working to bridge the digital literacy and opportunity divide.
Wayne Sutton, @WayneSutton is the founder of PitchTo, which manages and rates founder pitches and cofounder of Student Ventures , a nonprofit organization which mission is to expose students to the world of technology entrepreneurship and STEM through online education, mentorship, project challenges and hackathons
