It was created by CURY J (Communities United for Restorative Youth Justice) as a community project with an Anti-displacement and Gentrification theme in June and July, 2015. See the video here. The Mural to let people know what the community sees the negative and positives of Gentrification/Police Brutality going on not just in Oakland Ca But all around the country in Black & Brown Communities in the inner cities.
