The San Pablo Hotel is affordable senior housing at San Pablo and MLK, run by EBALDC, and opened in 1996.
The building was originally the Arcade Hotel, built in 1907. Notable residents since it has been senior housing have included Andrew Hatch (who lived to 117) and Yuri Kochiyama (an activist who was with Malcolm X when he died.) They are both featured on a mural on the MLK side of the building.
Since 2004, the building has also been home to the Center for Elders Independence. 1
