The Sackett School was a private preparatory day school and boarding school for young men and boys. The school was founded in 1878, and was located at 529 - 21st Street (originally Hobart) with D.P. Sackett, principal.

The school was in the former building of Miss Field's Seminary.

Danish-born artist Ferdinand Richardt taught drawing and painting c.1879.
