The S.M. Friedman Company was a women's apparel business run by Samuel M. Friedman. They had a new building constructed at 1439 Broadway in 1925 and moved into it in 1926. 2
The building at 1439 Broadway was designed by Reed and Corlett, and built by F.A. Muller. 1
