This mural wraps around the building on the corner of Telegraph and 43rd. It was commissioned in 2011 by Marcela and Ronn Simpson, who have owned the building since 1978. The Simpsons are graduates of CCA and were founders of Art Murmur. Derek Weisberg, a friend of Michael Linton Simpson (the Simpsons' son), curated the mural. Various artists have contributed such as Billy Sprague (the bubble tree part), Jake Watling (the ice cream truck part), Faring Purth, Rich Jacobs (the diamond shaped heads), Kara Josyln, Jeremy Ehling, Nick Mann, Daniel Jesse Lewis (the birds on the door).
The mural is 156 lineal feet down 43rd St., and 75 lineal feet down Telegraph, and covers more than 4,000 square feet of surface.
The mural was sponsored by the Temescal Telegraph Business Improvement District, KellyMoore Paints and Mark's Paint Spot.
