Remar Bakery was a baking business at 1010 - 46th Street at the corner of Adeline. The building was built in 1919 and operated as a bakery until 1988. The location is now the Bakery Lofts.
Remar Bakery of Oakland and Golden Sheaf of Berkeley incorporated as Golden Sheaf-Remar Co. in 1922. 2
On the Oakland History Facebook group, people recall Oakland Oaks trading cards that the business produced.
The Bakery Lofts website says Emeryville; the parcel is split by the cities of Emeryville and Oakland, although the majority of it lies in the former. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places, #02000328. The architects were W. H. Ellison and Frederick Whitton. 1
