Qilombo (formerly The Holdout) is an organizing and event space in West Oakland, maintained by a composition of collectives. There are bookstore, events, bicycle, and printing collectives who sell books, schedule events, run a bicycle workshop, and teach printing, respectively.
On Friday, December 16th, the city of Oakland shut down Qilombo for failing an unannounced fire inspection.[1]
