San Francisco Flower and Garden Show – From Thursday, March 19 to Sunday, March 23, the
City of Oakland’s Pollinator Posse will be the featured table at the San Francisco Flower and
Garden Show in San Mateo. The table will highlight how the Oakland Public Works Agency is
implementing innovative green strategies to help native bees and other pollinators in gardens and
medians around the city. Public Works staff will be on hand to answer questions about how
Oakland is partnering with non-profits and volunteers to help protect native pollinators. For more
