Pearson's Hardware was located at 4014 Piedmont Avenue. It was founded by James "Jim" W. Pearson in 1916, and was run by family for 3 generations until 1988. 1
The building is now home to Dr. Comics & Mr. Games, but still has the embedded tile door mat with "Pearson Hdwe Co - We Deliver" in front of the door.
[Does anyone remember Pearson's Hardware and what an awesome old store it was?? Any idea who designed/constructed the building??]
