The Parker Goddard Secretarial School was founded in 1920, and was at various locations downtown over the years. Mabel Parker and Adelaide E. Goddard were the principal partners. The school was in business from 1920 to 1935; in 1935 it was consolidated with the Helen Wakeman Secretarial School of Berkeley, which Parker owned until she died in 1952. 1
The school played a part in the founding of Soroptomist International.
Note that Parker's obituary says the school was founded in 1919, but every other source says 1920.
