The Palace Apartments, a brick apartment building at 1560 Alice Street built in 1915, was a part of the first wave of the Lakeside Apartment District development. The building was designed by Clay Burrell.
The building was originally called Crystal Palace Apartments. 1 Later that was reduced to simply Palace Apartments. Today it is called Alison Apartments.
On June 23, 1992, the Palace Apartments was designated Oakland Landmark #113, under Zoning Case #LM 90-446.
