Ollie's Bar (c.1980) 3

Ollie's was a popular lesbian bar at 4130 Telegraph from 1980 to 1988 or 1991, 2 run by Darlene “Ollie” Oliveira (1941 – 2016).

It had a performance space called Radclyffe Hall (Radcliffe Hall in some references), named for the author of The Well of Loneliness, Radclyffe Hall1

The dissertation Pride and Property: Queer Settler Colonialism, Blackness, and the Landed Politics of Accountability says that Black lesbians were not always welcomed, referencing an article in Onyx: Black Lesbian Magazine titled "Encounter at Ollie's."
