Wednesday, February 5, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., African American Museum & Library at Oakland, 659 14th Street.

Enjoy a panel discussion with Glynn Washington and Sean Murphy. Last fall, Brooklyn presented the Brooklyn Reconstructed Film Series; a collection of documentaries centered in Brooklyn rooted in explaining the mechanics contributing towards the reshaping of communities. Following a similar format, “Oakland Reconstructed” brings the focus to Oakland. Through a series of town forums, a league of scholars, entrepreneurs, civic leaders and creative people will work to answer the question many of them are already asking themselves: “Where do I fit into Oakland?”
