The Oakland Giants (sometimes called the Colored Giants) were a semi-pro, all Black baseball team starting in 1912. They were managed by Nelson Watson. 2,3 Beginning in 1913, they were the Lynne Stanley Giants in the merchant's league. In 1916, they became the Oak Leafs. 6
Not to be confused with the c.1923 Pierce Giants baseball team.
