Mount Vernon Park was a development near William D. Wood Park, opening in 1927. It was comprised of 89 lots on Sheffield and McKillop.
The York Co., Inc. announced that in approximately 30 days, they had sold most of the lots on Sheffield, all of the lots on the west side of McKillop, but had lots on the east side of McKillop available. 3
