The Millennium House is designed by architect Beverley David Thorne and is located at 6335 Skyline Boulevard in Oakland, California. The name comes from the idea that the house is strong enough to last 1,000 years.
It was designed for restaurateur Ed Baker. It has been under construction at least since 2006, and as of April 2013 still hadn't been completed. As of 2023, it looks fairly complete, but there's still a port-a-potty on site.
