The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Grove is a grove of trees in the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline, and was dedicated in 1993. It is at Doolittle Drive and Swan Way.
Community groups helped pay for construction of the grove, and there is a donors wall in the grove with names inscribed.
The dedication happened as part of a larger celebration of 30 years since Dr. King's march on Washington. Then assembly member Barbara Lee spoke at the dedication, as did mayor Elihu Harris. 1
