Marsha Jean Corprew (December 7, 1948–July 3, 2000) was on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission from 1977–1999, and was appointed by then mayor Lionel J. Wilson. She was vice-chair of the commission (1982–1999), chairperson and trustee of Children's Fairyland board (1977–1995) and was an educator and counselor with the Oakland Unified School District (1972–2000).

The Lakeside Park Garden Center building is named in her memory. She was a McClymonds High School graduate, and attended Merritt College and CSU Hayward.
