The Junk Boat in Lincoln Park is a play structure in Chinatown's Lincoln Square Park. The original was a project of the Wa Sung Community Service Club in 1969. That structure was "loved to death", and a more modern play structure was built in 2003.
Another 14 years of use has raised the need for repairs. In August 2017, the city council approved funds to replace worn rubber mats and some of the slides which are broken. 1
