Legendary Palace was a restaurant at 708 Franklin St. in Chinatown in a striking, albeit not entirely authentic building designed by W. K. Owen in 1924. Legendary Palace first opened in 1917(!), and closed in 2015. The closure was partly due to the $12.25 minimum wage increase, but also internal disputes among the owners. 1
