Founded in 2011, Land Action facilitates an on-the-ground regenerative process to heal our cities and ecology.
We obtain properties for urban microfarms and organizer housing, creating support spaces for community-building while facilitating a locally grown urban food supply.
We do not consider our work “charity.” Rather, we operate on a model of solidarity by empowering autonomous groups through the networking of resources.
We have created a network of support within the San Francisco Bay Area. Our supporters include urban farmers, land trust members, community organizers, and our neighbors.
