King Estate Open Space (the Glenn W. Daniel/King Estate Open Space Park) is a City of Oakland Park. The open space has views out over San Francisco Bay, as well as overlooking I-580. It abuts Charles P. Howard Elementary School as well as the former King Junior High School.
Glenn W. Daniel was one of the founders of the Oak Knoll Neighborhood Improvement Association formed in 1982, which worked to preserve the area as an open space. 1
