Hung Liu (February 17, 1948 – August 7, 2021) was an Oakland-based artist and professor emerita at Mills College.

Ms. Liu was born in 1948 in Changchun, China and grew up under the Maoist regime. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1984 to attend UC San Diego.

Her exhibit at the Oakland Museum of California ran from March 15, 2013 to June 30, 2013.
