Small batch, high quality tofu and yuba (tofu skin) company in West Oakland. They start with organic soy beans and turn them into products that are sold at various locations including Berkeley Bowl, Whole Foods, and many farmers markets in Oakland. They have tours at their factory, but don't offer retail (so you can't, unfortunately, just roll up there and purchase some tofu :().
In February 2014, Chipotle started selling vegan sofritas filling made with Hodo tofu. made with the beanery’s organic, GMO-free tofu.
