High Street Bridge

The High Street Bridge, built in 1939 as a PWA project, is a two lane bascule bridge (drawbridge) which spans the Oakland Estuary.

The steel beams were manufactured by the Moore Dry Dock Company which also manufactured the beams for the Park Street Bridge.
