The Harrington neighborhood designation is dubious. It is a small tract of family housing and small-scale apartments at the fringe of several centers of commerce including Dimond, Laurel, and Foothill and Fruitvale Blvds. It includes no schools or laundromats, though several exist just outside the borders. There is 1 tiny grocery and 1 tiny restaurant, but many businesses are only a few blocks away or even just across the street from this map's arbitrary polygon. In reality most residents would say they live in either "Fruitvale" or "East Oakland," or perhaps Laurel for those at the far north end. In general, the Greenstreets-based map categories for this area are far too granular for their density. The area between BART and 580 should be at most 3-4 neighborhoods.
