Hank and Frank Bicycles is a long-time bike store, founded in 1925. Their last Oakland location was at 6030 College Ave. in the Rockridge neighborhood. It closed c.2022.
As of 2024, they still have a store in Lafayette.
History
Hank and Frank Bicycles was founded in 1925. c.1940-1949 they were at 1267 - 1st Avenue. By 1958 they had moved nearby to 106 East 14th (now International) at the corner of 1st Avenue and East 14th.
Hank was Henry B. Stahl (wife Hazel).
