Fruitvale Congregational Church (earlier Fruitvale Congregational Chapel) was a church at 1601 Fruitvale Avenue. The congregation dated back to c.1892 with a Sunday school. The church building above was completed in 1911.
In 1893 before they had their own building, the church met in Blake's Hall on East 14th Street near Fruitvale Avenue.
The 1911 building was designed by Hugo Storch, who designed the very similar Park Congregational Church in Berkeley, completed in 1912.

In the 1960s, the Brown Berets used the building for a free breakfast for schoolchildren program similar to what the Black Panthers did elsewhere.
In 1964, the building became home to the Fruitvale United Church of Christ. 3 Wetherbee Hall behind the church was demolished.
The building was demolished in 1971 3 or 1973, and a building housing the dentist offices for La Clinica de La Raza now stands at the location.
