Frink House is a nice Italianate Victorian at 1432 Martin Luther King Jr. Way (1220 Grove Street before renumbering and renaming). It was built in 1880 for Ledyard and Margaret Frink. 1

Frinks

The Frinks lived there until Ledyard's death in 1900. They had previously lived on Washington from c.1875, and in Sacramento from c.1850.

After Margaret's death in 1893, Ledyard gave the property to L.C. and J. Winchell of Fresno, but continued to live there until his death in 1900.

Early 1900s

The 1912 Sanborn still shows it as a dwelling, but there were a large variety of people living there in the early 1900s suggesting it was rented out as rooms. Note that in 1912 the address changed to 1432 Grove.
