Frederick Charles (“F.C.”) Talbot (March 18, 1860 – March 10, 1919) was the vice president of the Pope and Talbot Lumber Co. which had been co-founded by his uncle Frederic Talbot. He was the son of William C. Talbot.

F.C. Talbot had an estate called Edenvale where Knowland Park and the Oakland Zoo now stand.

At the time of his death in 1919, his estate was worth approximately $10,000,000. 1
