| Description |
Provides shelter and other services for homeless men, women and families (total of 105 beds). Offers three meals per day to shelter residents. Also offers on-site case management, substance abuse/mental health counseling. Provides referrals to agencies offering direct services not provided by the shelter. Residents are required to participate in a mandatory savings program and perform daily chores. For information on intake, call Monday-Friday, 9-4. Maximum stay is 30 days with possible extension. EOCP residents can apply for Alameda County Shelter Plus Care Program. Also provides support services for clients in the program. Has 5 dedicated beds for Shelter Plus Care clients who are waiting for housing, 21 dedicated beds for people living with HIV/AIDS. |
