Don Neher Ford was a car dealership at 2820-2836 Broadway from at 1922 to 1952. They soon specialized in rebuilding and replacing motors, and became known as Don Neher Motors.
Dunsmuir "Don" Neher had been a salesman for E.I. Veitch Ford at 2820 Broadway. In 1922, he bought out his boss. 5
On January 1, 1938, the company was purchased by L.J. Tescher and K.W. Trowbridge. 4 Sometime before 1939, they had a second factory location at 1104 - 57th Avenue. 2 By 1940, they had locations as far away as L.A. 4
The company went bankrupt and the remaining assets were sold in 1952. 3
