Creek and Watershed Map of Oakland and Berkeley

The Creek and Watershed Map of Oakland and Berkeley is a map published by the Oakland Museum of California showing the creeks and watersheds in Oakland. It also shows the location of the larger storm drain network, and locations of historical water features that no longer exist.

It was first published in 1993 and there have been several updates since then, most recently in 2010. Paper copies are available for purchase at the Oakland Museum of California. 1

The underlying map data is from the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic quadrangles: Richmond (1980), Oakland West (1980), Oakland East (1980). The locations of the creeks (many of which are now primarily underground) was researched from historical maps and aerial photos.
