The 2006 environmental impact study for the Kaiser Oakland Medical Center refers to it as Koenig-Broadway Wholesale Cleaners. 1 In the 1920s and 1930s, Joseph Koenig had a cleaning business at the corner, at 3801 Broadway called Parisian Cleaning & Dyeing Works.
