Barcelona Apartments is a building formerly located at 3529 Emerson St. near St. Margaret Mary Church. The building was where I-580 now runs.
It was built by D.H. McCorkle in 1929. When constructed, it featured Marshall and Stearns wall beds, and Electro-Kold refrigeration. 1

When the MacArthur Freeway was constructed, the entire building was moved to a new location a block away at 3629 - 13th Avenue.
