Amedee Martin Sourdry (August 9, 1915 – October 7, 2008) was a long-time landscape architect with Oakland Parks and Recreation. He was a proponent of whimsical, imaginative designs for children.
While Sourdry had few solo projects, he was involved in numerous projects around Oakland, including Children's Fairyland, the Oakland Zoo, Harrison Railroad Park, the Mid-Century Monster, Peralta Playland, and others. He was also known for designing mobiles.
At Children's Fairyland, he designed the Alice in Wonderland set. 1
